These are my favorite promises of God to read whenever I am in a trial.
1. God Hears You
They caused the cry of the poor to come before him, so that he heard the cry of the needy.
Job 34:28
2. God Saves You
You save the humble
Psalm 18:27
but bring low those whose eyes are haughty.
3. God Gives Mercy in Your Pain
Shout for joy, you heavens;
Isaiah 49:14
rejoice, you earth;
burst into song, you mountains!
For the Lord comforts his people
and will have compassion on his afflicted ones.
4. God Delivers You During Troubles
The righteous person may have many troubles,
Psalm 34:19
but the Lord delivers him from them all.
5. He Will Not Let You fall
The Lord makes firm the steps
Psalm 37: 23-33
of the one who delights in him;
though he may stumble, he will not fall,
for the Lord upholds him with his hand.
6. God Rewards us In Our Pain
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,

The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed,

a stronghold in times of trouble.

8. Jesus Has Compassion For Our Pain
As a father has compassion on his children,
Psalm 103: 13
so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;
9. God Hides Us In His Shelter
For in the day of trouble
Psalm 27: 5
he will keep me safe in his dwelling;
he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent
and set me high upon a rock.
10. He knows our Pain
I will be glad and rejoice in your love,
Psalm 31:7
for you saw my affliction
and knew the anguish of my soul.
11. He Gives us Grace
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

12. Delivers us From Fear
Even though I walk

through the darkest valley,

Is God With Us In Our Suffering?
It’s easy to question God when you experience pain. I’ve been there. We all have. But the truth is, He is there! The enemy wants you to think that God isn’t good. He wants you to doubt.
So instead of letting the enemy win the battle for your mind, choose to meditate on these bible verses about pain.
Jesus came to this earth and suffered. He endured more pain than we could ever imagine. Betrayed, murdered, doubted, ridiculed.
Because he loves you.
Whenever you go through hard times, remember that Jesus also suffered, he knows your pain, and He is closer than a brother!
